LSI

Large-scale integration or LSI as it is known is the process of embedding thousands of transistors on a single silicon chip or semiconductor.

LSI can refer not only to the manufacture of such chips but to the output, ie. the semiconductors themselves.

LSI microchips typically house between 500 and 20,000 transistors and 100 and 9,999 logic gates.
